The iconic Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry has died at the age of 96.

Frank Gehry, one of the most influential figures in contemporary architecture, has died at the age of 96 after a short illness. Best known for the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, he transformed modern design with bold forms and innovative use of digital technology.
